Introduction of the extended 2G rule at Shinzen Dojo

Berlin. On 23/11/21, the Berlin Senate decided on the following amendment to the SARS-CoV-2 Infection Protection Measures Ordinance, which we will now adhere to at Shinzen Dojo in Berlin-Kreuzberg and at Studio Puls Berlin until further notice.

Participation in training requires that members and trial students have already been fully vaccinated (the 2nd vaccination must have been at least 2 weeks ago) or have recovered from Corona (max. 6 months). Proof must be presented digitally together with a form of identification.

Additionally, a negative Covid test must be presented:

As tested negative Persons are considered tested negative if they present proof of a negative

  • rapid test that is no older than 24 hours
  • or a PCR test that was taken no more than 48 hours ago.

Students who undergo regular corona testing as part of their schooling are also considered tested upon presentation of their student ID. Children under six years of age are generally exempt from the proof requirements.

We ask members and trial students to arrive for training on time so that they can register before karate training and their data can be verified if necessary.

The obligation to document attendance and the mask mandate in the foyer, in the hallway, and in the changing rooms remain in place. The showers may be used.

We would like to explicitly emphasize at this point that we are merely subtenants of Studio Puls and therefore must particularly respect and be considerate of the students, course participants, and visitors of Studio Puls.

Furthermore, we ask you to respect and adhere to the hygiene requirements so that we can enjoy our joint karate training in good health despite the special situation.

We ask you at this point to live by the values of karate in particular, namely with respect for all fellow human beings. With sporty greetings Your Shinzen Dojo

OSU!

A white belt, his first tournament and straight away an experienced black belt as an opponent: For Victory Ogbonna, the IFK German Open 2026 became a special experience. In Naunhof, the 27-year-old from Shinzen Dojo Berlin competed for the first time in the Kumite +90 kg category. After regular fight time and extra time, he lost by Waza-ari, but showed fighting spirit and got back up after a hard head strike. A first competition, an important experience – and definitely not the last.
