Information on Children's Karate at Shinzen Dojo

Berlin-Steglitz.

Nevertheless, since yesterday's 10th Ordinance of the Berlin Senate of 11/11/2021, we must also introduce current and adapted rules and implement them consistently.

The following changes, which directly affect us,, have been provisionally scheduled from the 15. to the 28.11 yesterday:

Under the 2G rule, it applies: Staff who have customer contact must be vaccinated, recovered, or tested at most 24 hours prior.

  • As we at Shinzen Dojo have a duty of care towards your children, our staff is fully vaccinated.

In addition to areas previously subject to the 2G condition (e.g., dance events indoors), the 2G condition now also applies to the following areas:

  • For events in enclosed spaces (teaching operations at schools and universities do not fall under this regulation)
    • We train in an enclosed space, but with open windows
  • During sports activities in covered sports facilities, fitness and dance studios, and similar institutions, with the proviso that persons under 18 years of age may be admitted if they are tested negative
    • We will not be accepting any new trial students until at least 31/12/2021 for the time being; by doing this, we want to ensure that only our own members train with us, thus minimizing the risk of infection.

Interested parents can, however, put themselves on our waiting list and will be informed early in the new year when there might be regular trial training sessions for your children again.

Stay healthy and we will keep you updated.

IFK German Open 2026: A first competition that remains in memory Black belt

A white belt, his first tournament and straight away an experienced black belt as an opponent: For Victory Ogbonna, the IFK German Open 2026 became a special experience. In Naunhof, the 27-year-old from Shinzen Dojo Berlin competed for the first time in the Kumite +90 kg category. After regular fight time and extra time, he lost by Waza-ari, but showed fighting spirit and got back up after a hard head strike. A first competition, an important experience – and definitely not the last.
