More than just a sport
Between lectures, exams, part-time jobs, and screen time, a fixed physical balance can be beneficial. In the dojo, the focus for 75 minutes is on movement, technique, and training with the group.
You train in regular adult classes with students, professionals, and other adults. What matters is not your everyday life outside the dojo, but that you want to train regularly and develop yourself.
- Consistent balance to daily student life
- Evening training after university or work
- Community outside of university and job
- Technique, stamina, and combat practice
- Joining without prior knowledge

Six reasons, that count
Balance to everyday life
On the mat, you focus on movement, technique, and partner work – a clear contrast to lectures, laptops, and exam phases.
Focus in training
Kihon, kata, and partner exercises demand attention and clean execution. You train to stay on task.
Community
You train regularly with the same group and get to know people outside of university, training, and work.
Full-body workout
Strength endurance, coordination, and flexibility are challenged together – without classic gym equipment.
Stick with it
Belt grades and technical learning goals provide structure and make progress visible over a longer period.
Evening training
Monday and Thursday at 20:30 in Schöneberg – great as a fixed appointment after university, training, or work.
From the lecture hall onto the mat
Studies and training often mean many hours of sitting and a life that takes place heavily in the head. Karate training intentionally provides a physical contrast.
In the dojo, you work on technique, stamina, coordination, and partner practice. For many, this is a fixed appointment in the week that creates structure and interrupts the daily routine – without promising that Karate automatically improves sleep, grades, or learning performance.
- Consistent physical balance
- Less screen, more movement
- Structure through regular training times
- Community outside of university
