The Children's Karate Course is moving
Berlin. Seit über 5 Jahren unterrichtet Anh Son Le Kinder im Alter von 5 bis 14 Jahren in der Bergstraße 93 in Berlin-Steglitz. Er bot dort Kyokushin Karate for children und Jugendliche in ganz Berlin an. Leider schließen diese Pforten nun zum Ende des Jahres im TSZ Phönix e.V.
The beginning of Children's Karate
It all started back in September 2016. When the Children's Karate class at TSZ Phönix e.V. invited students to the first children's karate course at Bergstraße 93 in 12169 Berlin-Steglitz only 3 children found their way to Sempai Son Le's karate course. Nevertheless, he taught Kyokushin Karate with full motivation, commitment, and passion.
This passion paid off. Numerous parents discovered the children's karate course on the internet, registered their children, and were impressed by how Sempai Son Le interacted with the kids. They remained loyal to him, the karate dojo, and the Kyokushin karate style.
Over the years, the classes for children grew, and the children's karate course had to be divided into beginners and advanced levels. In the process, the children learned not only Kyokushin Karate or martial arts, but also values, self-confidence, and self-discipline. This is especially important in Sempai Son Le's children's karate lessons. More important than trophies, badges, or certificates.
His 1st student, Ai Hirabayashi from Japan, confirms this:

She was the first karate student of Sempai Son Le from Japan, and he still associates her with the values from Japan: Humility, politeness, and determination.
At the beginning of September, we left the building at Bergstraße 93 and moved to Gardeschützenweg.
Since the Corona pandemic last year, no renovations or repairs had been carried out. Examples: Toilets were broken for months, hallway lights were defective, doors were dilapidated, up to the recent water damage.
What happens now?
Thanks to the good relationship with the board of TSZ Phönix e.V., a new location for our children's karate has fortunately been found at "Das Sportstudio" at Gardeschützeweg 57 in 12203 Berlin.
To ensure that children and teenagers can train in karate under normal conditions as quickly as possible, starting Saturday, 11.09.2021, both classes for children and teenagers will take place at the new dojo.
The room can be found on the lower floor of the sports studio, and this is what the new dojo for the children's karate course looks like:

Nothing changes regarding membership prices for our existing members. The fees remain the same.
The new location - the new dojo
We know that moving the children's karate course from the Shinzen Dojo is not easy for many parents and children and that the new location means a longer way to the dojo, but we also hope that it is worth it for you and your children ist.
Therefore, there will be one last Saturday, 28.08.2021, children's karate training session at Bergstraße 93 and on Saturday, 04.09., the move will take place, so no children's karate statt.
