Christmas greetings from Senpai Son Le
Dear members, dear students and friends of Shinzen Dojo Berlin,
An eventful year is drawing to a close, and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, a relaxing holiday period, and a motivated start to the new year. It fills me with great joy and pride to extend this greeting on behalf of our entire dojo community – for the children and adults who train hard week after week, for the parents who accompany their children, and for everyone who enriches Shinzen Dojo Berlin with their dedication.
„Der Weg des Kyokushin ist nicht nur der Weg des Körpers, sondern auch der Weg des Geistes.”
I thank you all for your devotion, your discipline, and your passion for Kyokushin Karate. You have filled the past year with life – whether in training, at gradings, or at the competitions we fought in together. It was inspiring to see how you have all grown, both as karateka and as people.
The end of the year always offers a moment for reflection. Looking back, I am grateful for all we have achieved together, but our gaze is always fixed forward – toward new challenges and goals. In the spirit of Kyokushin, the “ultimate truth way,” we know that growth is only possible through effort and determination.
For 2025, I have a motto I would like to share with you: “Osu! Stronger together.” This word, which in Kyokushin stands for respect, perseverance, and fighting spirit, should accompany us in the coming year. Let us continue to work on ourselves, side by side, blow by blow, step by step.
I look forward to standing on the mat with you again in the new year, to see your progress, and to bring out the best in us together. Because that is the spirit of Kyokushin: never give up, always keep going.
With that in mind: Merry Christmas, a successful new year, and above all – Osu!
Your Senpai Son Le
