No karate training on 26th June due to severe weather warning

Dear Karateka, dear parents,

The weather services report for this Thursday afternoon from 17:00:

  • Hurricane-force gusts up to 110 km/h
  • Heavy torrential rain (up to 30 l/sqm in 1 hour)
  • Hail around 2 cm
  • Danger of branch and tree breakage due to fully leaved trees

As many of you would be on your way to the Dojo at this time by car, bicycle or public transport, the risk of you getting caught directly in the storm is too high.

Your safety is our top priority.

We ask for your understanding. The missed training session will of course be made up at a later date.

Please stay at home today, look after yourselves and your families.

Should you have any questions, we are available at any time.

OSU – and stay healthy,

Your

Shinzen Dojo Berlin

IFK German Open 2026: A first competition that remains in memory Black belt

A white belt, his first tournament and straight away an experienced black belt as an opponent: For Victory Ogbonna, the IFK German Open 2026 became a special experience. In Naunhof, the 27-year-old from Shinzen Dojo Berlin competed for the first time in the Kumite +90 kg category. After regular fight time and extra time, he lost by Waza-ari, but showed fighting spirit and got back up after a hard head strike. A first competition, an important experience – and definitely not the last.
