Brandenburg Cup 2025 – Shinzen Dojo Berlin rises to the challenge
Henningsdorf.
Over 180 participants from all over Germany

Our students faced this challenge and gave their all – with great moments, but also valuable lessons for the future.
Kumite: Strong rankings for our dojo
Julyus Chien – Gold in Kumite (8-9 years, 30-35 kg)

Julyus fought his way to the top with confidence. With clear focus, excellent techniques and tireless commitment, he was able to secure 1st place. Especially impressive: His 4th tournament – and on the podium again!

David Lakeyev – Silver in Kumite (+40 kg, 10-11 years)

With strength and determination, David fought his way into the final. Even though it wasn't enough for victory there, his 2nd place was a strong result that shows he is on the right track.

Jessica Staszkiewicz – Silver in Kumite (girls, 9 years, Open)

Jessica fought her way through a tough competition and deservedly took 2nd place in Kumite. Especially impressive was her perseverance after a defeat in Kata – she continued to fight and was rewarded!

Sophie Jakob – First Kumite competition with a fighter's heart
Although Sophie couldn't win her fights, she proved that true strength lies not only in victory, but in the courage to face the challenge. Her commitment and determination were a strong signal for future competitions!

Tamino D’Agata – A tough day, but we'll keep at it
Tamino couldn't achieve a ranking this time, but we know he will come back stronger. His achievements so far have shown that he has the potential to compete in tournaments – we will continue to work on it!
Kata: A tough competition without podium places
This year, Shinzen Dojo Berlin remained without a ranking in the Kata category. The competition was strong, and although our students entered with a lot of effort, it wasn't enough for a win.
Quote from Senpai Son:
“I am satisfied with the performance of our students and am happy for them that they performed well in Kumite. Unfortunately, there was no victory in Kata this time.”
But we learn from every challenge – and we will come back stronger next time!
Thanks to the organisers and supporters
A big thank you goes to the KKC Hennigsdorf for the great organisation and to the DKO (German Kyokushinkai Organisation) for hosting this great tournament.
Also a huge thank you to all parents, friends and supporters who cheered on our fighters – your support makes the difference!

A tournament with ups, downs and valuable experiences
• Strong Kumite results with 1x Gold, 2x Silver
• Brave fighters in their first tournament
• Kata remains a challenge – we continue to work on it
• Team spirit and cohesion have made our dojo strong again
We are proud of our students!
Osu!
